The New Relics

The New Relics threw out the book on everything they knew and concentrated on the basics; the lyrics, the story, and a good driving beat. Those ideas took them to a realm of music that even they were surprised with the outcome. With more rock and edge, yet still retaining the introspective thoughts of Michael J. Arbogast's lyrics, The New Relics just plain deliver on there sophomore effort "Hard Road," a collection of songs that allow the fans to see what the band is thinking and where they are going and all the hard times that take them there. Opening for National headliners including Sawyer Brown, The Clarks, The Pat McGee Band, Blessid Union of Souls, 311, and Wyclef Jean, and sharing the stage with regional acts The Argument, Graham Colton and Shaking Tree, The New Relics have made their mark on the Mid-Atlantic regional music scene. The band has had great success and is getting a stronger fan base at every show. >>> show allThe New Relics threw out the book on everything they knew and concentrated on the basics; the lyrics, the story, and a good driving beat. Comparisons have been made to Pat McGee and John Mayer, with the drive of Train and the laid back attitude of Pat Green, Coldplay, and The Dave Matthews Band, but TNR has created a vibe that is uniquely their own. Simply put, The New Relics are redefining acoustic rock. >>> show brief
